Learn Music in person or online
Musical Mentors is seeking students for lessons over Zoom or in person. One-on-one, entirely free or charge. If you don’t have an instrument, we’ll send you one. If you don’t have tools necessary for online learning (e.g. a device for video conferencing), don’t worry. We can’t supply technology solutions for everyone but we want you in our classroom and will do what we can to bring you there.
University Chapters Lesson Application
Should your child attend one of our partner K-8 schools, they may be paired with a volunteer instructor. The application for the Fall term is now closed. Please contact our University Chapter Coordinator if you have questions or need assistance.

- September 7, 2023 – Fall application opens
- September 28, 2023 – Fall application deadline
- October 16, 2023 – Fall semester lesson start
- January 15, 2024 – Spring application opens
- January 29, 2024 – Spring application deadline
- February 12, 2024 – Spring semester lesson start

Musical Mentors Online Lesson Application
Musical Mentors offers free lessons to at-risk youth and partners with youth serving organizations across the United States. If we can serve your child, complete our MMO Lesson Application. Please contact our Program Director if you have questions or need assistance.

Musical Mentors Academy
Students are offered sliding scale financial assistance based on income and need. We accept students on a rolling basis. If you are interested in joining the MMA community, please reach out to our Program Director or apply for lessons below.
